Advantages of Lithium-Ion Batteries:

extended period, even when not in use. This makes them suitable for devices that are intermittently used.

Environmental Impact: The manufacturing and disposal of lithium-ion batteries can have negative environmental impacts due to the 

use of rare metals and toxic materials. Recycling programs are in place, but not all batteries are recycled.
